Come nella prima tappa, così anche nella frazione conclusiva del Giro di Slovenia Phil Bauhaus stato il più veloce di tutti. Sul traguardo di Novo Mesto, il tedesco della Bahrain Victorious ha superato gli australiani Edmondson e Hausselr mentre Matteo Trentin ha chiuso al quarto posto. Decimo posto di giornata per Matteo Sobrero. La vittoria finale è andata a Tadej Pogacar, davvero felice di aver conquistato il suo primo successo nella corsa di casa. Alle sue spalle hanno chiuso nell’ordine Diego Ulissi e Matteo Sobrero. Nella top ten anche Giovanni Carboni, che ha chiuso ottavo.
